Three Forks Rodeo Arena Website & Calendar

About us

The rodeo grounds is overseen by a seven-member board of directors appointed by the Three Forks City Council.  Learn more here about the board.

The rodeo grounds is available for public use.  Just ensure it is not already reserved by someone else by checking the calendar.  If it's not reserved, you are welcome to ride.  It may not be worked by our Arena Manager at regular unreserved times though.

You can also use the stalls to stay overnight as you are passing through.  Again, as long as the arena is not reserved for a particular use, you are welcome to stay for one night.  There are no RV hookups or electricity - this is very off grid.  But in the summer months there is water available for the animals.  There is a donation box near the first stall we request you leave something for this service.

2024 report:

Chairman Casey Elmose reported on this year’s events: “We had another outstanding rodeo.  July 2024 attendance was down a little bit, but we collected just under 800 pounds of food in donations in trade for free kids’ attendance! This food went to the Headwaters Area Food Bank who serves Three Forks and the surrounding areas of Pony, Harrison and Clarkston. On Saturday night there just over 3,000 people in attendance. Lower attendance was due to a variety of events occuring this same weekend around the area: concerts, the Gallatin County Fair, and other rodeos.

We again opened the rodeo to include food truck vendors, which helped streamline the time to get your food from the cook shack. This provides a bigger variety of food options for the patrons, and greatly helps us being able to feed our volunteers as well. Vendor spaces were completely full again this year, from craft jewelry, western clothing and cowboy hats, and a few school and sporting groups raised money for their teams and clubs!

The rest of the 2024 summer had several events booked including team roping, barrel racing, oh-mok-sees, High Winds youth rodeo, mounted shooter practices, and the Bridger Mountain High School Rodeo.  Please check out the rodeo website calendar of events."
