Mayor & Council
Our City has six council members and a mayor. The council members each serve staggered four-year terms: three members' terms began January 1, 2024 and expired December 31, 2027; the other three members' terms began January 1, 2022 and expire December 31, 2025. The Mayor serves a four-year term as well.
*There were three resignations in 2023 so there are currently three appointed council seats. These require that the appointee run in the next general election. So those appointed have a two-year term limit right now and must run in the 2025 election for the remaining two-years. This will be open to anyone interested in filing, not just those currently appointed.
